My name is Jasper, and I’m a dog who is still learning how big and beautiful the world is. Sometimes I get nervous when I meet someone new. I don’t understand everything right away. But I’m learning that when I stay curious and kind to others, I almost always learn something new. I love belly rubs, crunchy leaves in the fall, and adventures outside that teach me something new about where I live in east Tennessee. Most of all, I love meeting readers like you!

My books are about the kinds of moments kids experience every day: meeting new friends, being scared of the dark, making wise decisions, trying something unfamiliar, learning how to be brave, and discovering that kindness goes a long way.
